7. Radiological Reports - Panoramic Analysis

Diagnocat’s Panoramic Radiologic Report is designed for precision and speed. This guide walks you through key features to enhance your review process.

1. Accessing the Panoramic Report

  • Click on “Pano” to launch the panoramic report.
  • The left panel displays the full orthopantomogram with visual overlays.

2. Visual Tools for Image Adjustment

  • Use the editing toolbar to adjust:
    • Brightness
    • Contrast
    • Sharpness
  • Hover over any icon for tool descriptions.
  • Click the Expand icon for a closer view of details.

3. Editing Tooth Numbers

  • To correct a tooth number:
    • Click “Edit tooth number”
    • Select the tooth, update the number, and click Confirm. The chart updates automatically. 

4. Using Diagnostic Filters (Critical Area Tags or CATs)

  • Located at the top of the image:
    • Perio – periodontal issues
    • Restorative – restorations
    • Endo – endodontic concerns
    • Anatomy – anatomical landmarks & prior treatments

These filters highlight relevant pathologies for efficient case review.

5. Understanding the Smart Dental Chart

  • Color Codes:
    • White = Healthy
    • Purple = Treated
    • Red = Pathology
    • Cross = Missing tooth
  • Red horizontal bars = Periodontal data available

Click any tooth to open its Tooth Card.

6. Reviewing Tooth Cards

  • Tooth Cards summarize:
    • Detected conditions (over 50% AI certainty)
    • Condition severity & type
  • Color Indicators:
    • Red = Pathology
    • Purple = Prior treatment
  • Use the Plus (+) icon to manually adjust findings.

7. Filtering Diagnoses

  • Sort conditions by:
    • Probability
    • Category
    • Alphabetical
  • Use the search bar for specific terms.

8. Additional Diagnostic Tools

  • Suspicious Teeth – Highlights teeth with 30–50% AI certainty
  • Condition Details – Expand/collapse all detections

9. Adding Comments

  • Add notes to any Tooth Card and they will appear in the final report.

10. Finalizing the Report

  • Click “Approve” to confirm findings.
  • To include selected teeth only, use “Select Teeth”.
  • Add your additional clinical conclusions and recommendations.

11. Signing & Exporting

  • To create a valid medical record you will need to approve all Tooth Cards and apply your digital signature. Reports without a signature remain informal.
  • You may customize report appearance (e.g., show/hide AI confidence, image slices)
  • Export as PDF to print or email.
