Diagnocat’s Implant Report gives you an AI-assisted implant planning workflow; from scans to surgical guide. Whether you're optimizing a single implant or planning multiple, this tool streamlines every step for clinical precision.
1. Getting Started
- Upload a CBCT scan and an intraoral scan (upper and lower jaws)
- Diagnocat performs:
- Automatic segmentation of anatomical structures
-
- Superimposition for accurate alignment and visualization
This creates a detailed 3D model of the patient’s anatomy as your foundation for precise planning.
2. AI Detection & Implant Proposal
- Diagnocat automatically detects missing teeth
- For 1–3 implant cases, AI suggests implant sites automatically
Example: If tooth 1.4 is missing, an implant site will be proposed without manual input.
3. Implant Planning Panel
- Found on the right side of the screen
- Start by selecting:
- Implant manufacturer
- Specific implant system/type
- Implant manufacturer
- Choose the implant sites by tooth number (single or multiple)
4. Visualizing the Crown (Digital Wax-Up)
- Diagnocat generates a digital crown based on neighboring teeth
- This AI-generated wax-up ensures anatomical harmony and functional alignment
5. Implant Adjustment
- Customize both diameter and length
- AI suggestions are provided, but you retain full control
Use Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR) to adjust placement in all three planes.
- A 3D central axis projection helps ensure perfect alignment
6. Safety with Smart Color Warnings
Diagnocat uses a color-coded system to guide clinical safety:
- Green = Clinically acceptable placement
- Yellow = Caution; review proximity to critical structures
- Red = Warning; potential risk to nerves, sinuses, or adjacent roots
7. Selecting the Surgical Sleeve
- Choose a metal sleeve from Diagnocat’s built-in library
Sleeves will help to guide your surgical drill with precision
8. Finalizing the Plan
- Once you're satisfied with the crown shape, implant position and sleeve selection, you can click Approve to lock in your plan.
9. Generating the Surgical Guide
- Click Generate Guide to build a guide based on your plan and clinical protocols
- This process takes about a minute or two and you can review the shape visually before finalizing the guide.
10. Exporting the Guide
- Once approved you may download the STL file, print it with a 3D printer
and use in guided implant surgery.
Diagnocat’s Implant Report is smart and fast, supporting efficient and accurate implant procedures.
